AI living room design: plan a redesign from your photo

Start a living room redesign with the way you use the space. Conversation, television and home working need different priorities. An AI visualization helps you compare furniture, colours and mood using your own photo. Choose one problem first: a bulky arrangement, disconnected colours or awkward seating. That gives you a clear reason to prefer one proposal over another.
Define the activities and visual direction
Describe where seating should go, which colours you prefer and which access routes need to remain open. State these priorities directly in your instructions. Asking for a reading area by the window is more useful than asking for a beautiful room. Furnished mode proposes new furniture; it is not a way to preserve a particular existing sofa. Compare the result with the original, especially the position of doors and windows.
Describe the room’s main activity. For conversation, request a seating group that lets people face one another. For watching television, consider the direction of the sofa and daylight reflected on the screen. A reading area needs an accessible position and practical lighting, rather than a decorative chair placed in a walkway.
Compare styles with the same starting photo
Begin with two directions. Scandinavian styling offers a light base and simple furniture; japandi focuses on a restrained palette, wood and texture. Keep the photograph and main instructions consistent. Changing everything at once makes it harder to identify what improved the room.
Look at the space between objects as carefully as the objects themselves. A rug can bring a sofa and chairs together, but should not automatically fill the entire floor. Try one stronger accent against a simple background before adding more decorations. Consider where everyday items will live once the polished concept becomes a real room.
Turn a visual direction into practical decisions
Extract three choices: the palette, furniture character and arrangement of activities. Treat illustrated products as references and look for real alternatives. Check samples in your own light. Measure the room and furniture before ordering, and sketch the arrangement. Start with the change that solves your original problem instead of purchasing everything shown.
How to prepare your photo
- Take a clear photo from a corner, including the floor, main walls and windows. Keep the camera level and avoid panoramas or colour filters.
- Clear distracting items in the foreground, but leave the existing furniture visible so that the room’s present arrangement is easy to understand.
- Sign in and upload a JPG, PNG or WEBP up to 10 MB. Choose living room, empty or furnished, and an interior style. Add your priorities in the instructions field, which accepts up to 800 characters.

What to check in the visualization
- Compare the position and number of windows, doors and fixed elements with the photo. Reject a result that improves the room by changing its architecture.
- Check access to doors, curtains and storage. Decide whether the seating arrangement supports the everyday activities you identified in the brief.
- Inspect furniture legs, lamps, reflections and material joins. Use implausible details as a reason to revise the instructions or generate another proposal.
